DOUBLEs GO FISH

Today your child should have brought home their doubles facts flash cards that they made in class during the last two weeks.

There are 3 ways to play doubles:
Speed Play:
Name the Sum
(turn over each addition doubles card and name the sum as fast as you can)
Name the Difference
(turn over the subtraction doubles cards and name the difference as fast as you can)

Go Fish (two players)
Shuffle cards, each player gets 4 cards
Player 1 looks at their card (10-5) and asks (Do you have 5+5?)
Player 2 answers Yes, if they have the matching card and gives it to Player 1
Players answers No, Go Fish if they do not have the doubles match
then Player 1 draws from the deck
Player 2 takes their turn next
First player out of cards wins the match

Your child should have made the following fact cards:
1+1, 2-1, 2+2, 4-2, 3+3, 6-3, 4+4, 8-4, 5+5, 10-5, 6+6, 12-6, 7+7, 14-7, 8+8, 16-8, 9+9, 18-9, 10+10, 20-10

***We will take a timed test this Friday on our doubles facts***
