May 20th – May 23rd Schedule:

With all our hard work almost done,
it’s time to gear up for our final week of FUN!
May 20th – May 23rd Schedule:
Monday: Movie & Autograph Day: Viewing Charlotte’s Web
After reading the novel, we’ll compare/contrast the book with the movie as we enjoy watching the characters come to life! We’ll also be sharing our autographs. Students may bring in a plain t-shirt and Sharpie for friends to sign. This will also be yearbook signing day J

Tuesday: Game Day  (board games only ~ no electronics)
Students may bring in their favorite ‘old fashioned’ game to play with their friends in class! Examples: Sorry, Connect 4, Guess Who, Life, Chess/Checkers, Old Maid, Crazy 8’s, Puzzles, Monopoly, Uno, etc.

 Wednesday: Read-In
Come ready to cuddle up with your favorite books! Students may bring a few favorite, school appropriate, books from home to read with a friend in class! Students may also bring a cozy pillow, stuffed animal or small blanket to be comfy for the read-in J

 Thursday: Field Day 9:00 – 10:30
 Note from Ms. Wheaton:
It would be very helpful if you would be sure your child is prepared for “Water Field Day”.  It will be much more enjoyable for your child if they come prepared to get wet.  The students should have shorts and a T-shirt or bathing suit, tennis shoes or sandals (no flip-flops as they are hard to run in), and a towel. In accordance with proper dress code, as well as protection from our Arizona sun, it will be necessary that all students wear an oversized T–shirt over their bathing suits.  The students should also bring an entire dry set of clothes and shoes.  The students should also have a carrying bag for all of their attire.  It can be very uncomfortable and unsanitary for students to be in wet clothes or shoes for the remainder of the school day, especially if a student goes to an after school day care.
If your child does not feel comfortable wearing a bathing suit he/she can wear shorts and a T-shirt.  If your child cannot get wet he/she can still participate in other planned activities created for students who cannot get wet.
